Neotic is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to any of the components contained within this medication. Neotic is also contraindicated in the presence of spontaneous perforation of the tympanic membrane or discharge. Neotic should not be applied in the external auditory canal where there is a perforation of the eardrum, including tympanostomy tubes, or in any scenario where this medication can reach the middle ear. Neotic is for topical use only and is not intended for ophthalmic or oral use.
